Welcome to the back up website for the 2002 Bowling season of Castlefields Crown Green Bowling Club

Castlefields Crown Green Bowling Club has a impressive record both as a Club and individuals and we as Crown Green Bowlers do not give ourselves the credit we rightly deserve. The aim of this site is not only to promote the Club and players at Castlefields but also to promote the games of Bowling, Crown Green Bowling & Bowls.

Time up for the signing on of all League players & with two of our County stars moving on to Ford this as left places for Kevin Price & Mike Thomas to move up from the Tanners Wines Shropshire League,

Meanwhile Tony Poole, who as been suffering from a shoulder and knee injury as decided that these injuries have not cleared up enough for him to maintain the high level of bowling he is capable of and so as taken on the Captain's role in the Tanners Wines Shropshire League & already as made his first signing in George Wainwright who as told Tony he can call on him for this season. We hope to prove Cornerman wrong on all of is predictions for Castlefields teams this season, again time will...

To get our members thinking about the forth coming season we held a signing on night at the Telegraph, well a lot of them still have there winter heads on & bowls up in the attic, hurry up the warm weather as the green is now open to members & non-members of the Club so any one who wants to join us come down Sunday evening & meet the Team Captains.
